2Data processing on the site

How we process your data (logging, cookies, tracking, etc.)

Log data

For technical reasons, every time your internet browser accesses our site it automatically sends information (log data) to our server. We keep some of this information in log files, for example:

  • Date of access
  • Time of access
  • URL of the referring site
  • The files accessed
  • Volume of data transferred
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • IP address (anonymised)

Log data does not contain personal data. As a general rule, we analyse log data only to fix faults in the operation of our site and to clarify security incidents. Log data is stored indefinitely.

Sometimes it is necessary to collect additional personal information along with the log data in order to fix faults or preserve evidence of security incidents. In these cases we are entitled by law to process the log data (Article 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). We delete this data once the fault has been fixed or the security incident clarified, or once the original reason for processing it no longer applies for other reasons. In the event of a security incident, we pass the log data to the investigating authorities case by case, to the extent permitted.

We always store log data separately from the other data collected in connection with the use of our site.
