Freed of London Studio II pointe shoes with a harder shank (Hard) and V-DV box shape

Achieve stability, lightness and confidence on stage with the Freed Studio II pointe shoes.

The Freed of London Studio range is characterised by standardised factory production aimed at complete consistency, high durability and predictable behaviour of the shoe. The Studio II was developed specifically for ballerinas who need a lighter construction than the Studio I, combined with a wider platform for stable, secure balance.

Thanks to the modern engineering of the platform, the pointe shoes give excellent support straight out of the box. This is an exceptionally versatile style that ideally combines stability en pointe with mobility through demi-pointe. Depending on the dancer’s needs and the strength of the foot, the style offers a choice between a standard and a hard insole.

Main features and design:

  • Lighter block: A standard block that is lighter than the Studio I, for greater freedom of movement.
  • Wide platform for balance: The wider platform surface guarantees exceptional stability and security en pointe.
  • Modern engineered support: A consistent, structured shape that gives maximum support from day one.
  • Choice of insole: Available with standard strength (/S) or a hard insole (/H), according to the strength of the arch.
  • Balance of stability and flexibility: Perfect articulation of the foot combined with firm support.
  • Versatility: A suitable choice for more advanced students as well as professional artists.

All Freed of London® pointe shoes are handmade, so we advise treating them with special care. Always take your pointe shoes out of your bag straight after rehearsal and let them dry at room temperature, away from direct heat, to preserve the properties of the materials. Spot-clean the satin only, with a slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent, and avoid getting the whole shoe wet. For maximum durability, use suede caps on the platform and alternate two pairs of pointe shoes so the structure can recover fully between sessions. MJdance and Freed of London® accept no liability for damage resulting from improper cleaning. Pointe shoes must not be washed! Proper care of our products is the buyer’s responsibility.
