The DUVAL1 – thePRO is specially designed for intensive stage work and professional use. These pointe shoes combine the spirit of traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge materials to offer ballerinas unrivalled durability and comfort.

Main features and design:

Hybrid construction: Combines a handmade traditional box with a modern Hytrel® plastic shank. This gives the shoe a life up to 3 times longer than classic styles.
Maximum comfort and quiet: The built-in high-performance PORON® foam absorbs shock on landing, cushions each step and significantly reduces noise on stage.
Anatomical design: The pre-arched shape follows the natural line of the arch, giving a perfect fit and an elegant silhouette.
Stability and support: The wide platform gives exceptional balance, and the Hytrel® shank keeps its flexibility and strength even through the most demanding rehearsals.
Natural materials: The box is made from natural jute fibres that let the foot “breathe”, and the sole is high-quality Italian leather.

All F.R. Duval® pointe shoes are handmade, so we advise treating them with special care. Always take your pointe shoes out of your bag straight after rehearsal and let them dry at room temperature, away from direct heat, to preserve the properties of the Hytrel® and PORON® materials. Spot-clean the satin only, with a slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent, and avoid getting the whole shoe wet. For maximum durability, use suede caps on the platform and alternate two pairs of pointe shoes so the structure can recover fully between sessions. MJdance and F.R. Duval® accept no liability for damage resulting from improper cleaning. Pointe shoes must not be washed! Proper care of our products is the buyer’s responsibility.
